Psalm 32:1-2

The psalmist offers the word “happy” to describe the impact of forgiveness. I love that. Happiness is showing and feeling pleasure and contentment. Forgiveness makes such a change in our heart that it shows on our face. It changes our perspective to the extent that we change our actions.

As we begin a new week, let’s do so by happily being reminded that our sins are forgiven. I can’t think of a better way to begin.
