Emily Wright doing what comes naturally – bringing joy!

There are some people who bring a smile to your face and joy to your heart when in their presence. Emily is one of those people in my life. She is not only a diligent student at BCTC but also is on staff at the Down Syndrome Association of Central Kentucky (DSACK). Did I mention she is a gold medal winning athlete? Yep, and the best part is that when Emily shows up everyone wins.

I believe our purpose in life can be found at the intersection of gladness and hunger. The things that bring us joy and also meet the needs for others is the place of our calling. Emily shows us what that looks like in real life and I am grateful for God’s witness in and through her.
