As a new page has turned in my role at First Church, I am finding some time to think and process. What I am finding is that it is tough turning off the task oriented side and move to more the reflective. It reminds me that we become ingrained so quickly in our day to day that it becomes tough to turn it off. I once heard it said that the life we live in the margins makes the difference. In those empty spaces that we fill up with something important but not urgent determines how effective we are and how deeply God can work within and through us.
