5 minutes before the service yesterday morning I came across a sight that really brought some things home to me. There was a group of young people (ie. under the age of 12) making their way through the halls excitedly getting ready to acolyte in the service. Well, one was the acolyte, the other five were “helping”! And it just hit me that this is what Sunday mornings are all about. A safe place for kids to come and participate. A growing place for families to make it through life. And a place of community for all people regardless of their season in life. Those things are happening at Andover and it is only by the grace of God at work. Humbling really for me personally.
