The kids have been off for 7 days in the past three weeks for snow, President’s Day, and a sick day. Needless to say, we have spent some time huddled around the fire and in front of the playstation. They have also been to work with Susan and I more than they care to remember! Melisa has just asked me to smell her various flavors of lip gloss while Marshall is shooting animals on playstation and Madelyn has been in my room reading all day. This may seem mundane, but to me, it is a precious time. They will be gone before I know it and Susan and I will miss having to juggle work schedules, ball games and ballet. May we all enjoy the journey before its over.
