You know my mantra calling for women to play a greater role in our society. It is this type of thinking in the article that so overwhelms society and produces an unlevel playing field. Here you have the President of Harvard University and a top-tier economist making a statement that women are not capable of excelling (in comparison to men) in the math and science fields. I sure don’t want my two girls hearing such non-sense. I want them to have every opportunity to be whatever God has created them to be. No longer is it acceptable to pigeon-hole people based on gender, race, socio-economic background or nationality. Jesus came to set us free. Free from selfish desires, free from eternal death, and free to live life to the fullest degree. Any reduction of this freedom by humanity is, in my opinion, straying from God’s intention.
